Caledonian Railway Loco buffer 1’6” 16” head. Original fitment to most CR locomotives but with replacement 16'' head by LMS/BR, some locos had a wooden packer to make 1'81/2'' buffers when fitted with screw couplings.
Our buffers are all cast from a high quality white metal which contains a small percentage of lead to improve the strength and give a smooth surface to the finished item.
